The trailhead is near Fjordgård in Senja, Troms, about 57 km from Tromsø. The walk is 5 km with 600 m of ascent and takes 3 to 4 hrs, and the usual season is June to September. The closest scenic drive is the Senja route, roughly 3.9 km away.
Why it's loved. A genuinely thrilling summit, but increasingly busy and often muddy.
