A knife-edge ridge with vertical walls on both sides above Åndalsnes.
The trailhead is near Åndalsnes in Romsdal, Møre og Romsdal, about 81 km from Ålesund. The walk is 10 km with 970 m of ascent and takes 6 to 8 hrs, and the usual season is mid-June to mid-September. The closest scenic drive is the Geiranger to Trollstigen route, roughly 4.4 km away.
Why it's loved. Trolltunga-level drama with far fewer crowds; needs clear weather and the shuttle bus.
