A short, steep climb to a ridge facing the Romsdalen walls.
The trailhead is near Åndalsnes in Romsdal, Møre og Romsdal, about 84 km from Ålesund. The walk is 4 km with 330 m of ascent and takes 2 to 3 hrs, and the usual season is June to October. The closest scenic drive is the Geiranger to Trollstigen route, roughly 7.4 km away.
Why it's loved. Huge reward for little effort, right by the Romsdalseggen trailhead.
