Sherpa steps from town to the Rampestreken viewpoint and Nesaksla (708 m).
The trailhead is near Åndalsnes in Romsdal, Møre og Romsdal, about 80 km from Ålesund. The walk is 6 km with 700 m of ascent and takes 3 to 5 hrs, and the usual season is May to October. The trailhead sits on the Geiranger to Trollstigen scenic route itself.
Why it's loved. A big view straight from the centre of Åndalsnes; ride the gondola down.
