A demanding traverse of the seven peaks rising straight from the sea.
The trailhead is near Sandnessjøen in Helgeland, Nordland. The walk is 14 km with 1800 m of ascent and takes 10 to 14 hrs, and the usual season is July to September. The closest scenic drive is the Helgeland Coast, South route, roughly 30 km away.
Why it's loved. Queen Sonja inaugurated a route here in 2016; a serious coastal ridge challenge.
