A Stø to Nyksund loop over summits and along wild beaches to a historic fishing village.
The trailhead is near Stø in Vesterålen, Nordland. The walk is 15 km with 900 m of ascent and takes 5 to 8 hrs, and the usual season is June to September. The closest scenic drive is the Andøya route, roughly 22 km away.
Why it's loved. Queen Sonja called it one of the most beautiful trails she's hiked; carry water.
